Crystal Holos are the biggest chase cards in the entire WOTC era. These are often referred to as the Gold Stars of the WOTC era because of their extreme difficulty to pull them from boxes. Several booster boxes are reported to not contain any crystals whatsoever. These are about the same level of rarity as the gold stars which came the following year. Among them, no other card stands out with the level of status like the Crystal Charizard from Skyridge! Over the next month, we will be doing a few releases, which will include all of the Crystal Holos which only come from two sets, Skyridge & Aquapolis. At $300,000 per box, these cards continue to accelerate in price. The Crystal Charizard has been solidified as one of the absolute top grail cards in all of Pokémon. There are only a few cards that have this level of status within the Pokémon TCG. They include cards like the 1st Edition Shadowless Charizard(close to $1 million now), the Legendary Collection Charizard(over $300k now) and the 1st Edition Lugia(close to $300k). Recent sales of the Crystal Charizard have closed above $300k and we just sold the only other one that we had for $350,000 through a private sale with one of the top Pokémon auctions.
